Basic Martini
2 1/2 oz. gin or vodka depending on you preference.
Hint of dry vermouth. A guideline is 8 parts gin or vodka, to 1 part vermouth.
garnish with olives or cocktail onions as preferred
Dirty Martini
6 fluid ounces vodka
1 dash dry vermouth
1 fluid ounce brine from olive jar
4 stuffed green olives
In a mixing glass, combine vodka, dry vermouth, brine, and olives. Pour into a glass over ice. Either drink on the rocks, or strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Pomegranate Martini
Use Pom brand Pomegranate juice
Citron vodka
Simple syrup
Lemon
Combine 1/3 cup Pomegranate juice, 1/3 cup Citron vodka, 1 tablespoon simple syrup and stir well. Transfer to martini glass and garnish with a sliver of lemon rind.
Simple Syrup
1 cup white sugar
1 cup water
In a medium saucepan combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool.
Heavenly Chocolate Martini
Serves 2
1 oz. Godiva® chocolate liqueur
1 oz. Godiva® white chocolate liqueur
1 oz. creme de cacao
1 oz. Bailey's® Irish cream
1 oz. vodka
2 oz. half-and-half
Pour all of the above ingredients into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake well, and pour into 2 chilled martini glasses drizzled with chocolate syrup.
Variations: Chocolate Orange martini, add 1/2 oz. orange liquer; for a Chocolate Raspberry Martini, add 1/2 oz. raspberry liqueur; for a Chocolate Coconut Martini, add 1/2 oz. Malibu Rum
Espresso Martini
For all you coffee lovers out there this martini recipe is for you!
1oz. vanilla vodka
1oz. coffee liqueur
1 shot single shot of espresso
Pour all of the above ingredients into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Serve in chilled martini glass.
